We're Proud to Help You During Your Transition
Preserving your sperm could give you the opportunity to have your own biological children in the future. You can preserve your sperm any time after puberty, which is generally between 12 and 13 years of age.
Hormones can greatly impact your body’s sperm production, it is highly recommended that your sample is collected before any hormones have been consumed; producing a sample after you have begun taking hormones could give you little to no sperm cells to save.
At this time, insurance companies do not cover the cost of private sperm banking; however, we offer payment plans to assist with the cost of the collection and storage.

A Supportive & Sensitive Environment
Beginning the transition process entails a lot of different factors. We've worked with transitioning clients for over 20 years and our entire team understands that your journey is unique to you. Our team will be sure to identify you with your preferred name at each touchpoint. Since it is an FDA regulated lab, we're required to store your samples under your legal name but if you legally change it at some point, we'd be happy to change our documentation. Simply send us a legal document showing your name change. We'll update your name and celebrate this big step with you.

Hormone Replacement Therapy
Should I freeze my sperm before hormone replacement therapy?
If you would like your own biological child in the future or you think you might, it's a good idea to at least collect one sample. It is possible for hormone medications to permanently change your ability to have children.
How long can you preserve your collection?
Scientists believe that sperm cells can survive indefinitely once they are cryogenically stored as long as the temperature remains stable. This means your sperm remains healthy and ready to use for as long as you need it.
Does your team have experience working with transwomen?
Absolutely. Many of our clients are transwomen who have stored their samples before beginning their therapy. Our team is trained on embracing your preferred name and will be supportive during your experience.
How quickly can I get a collection kit?
We can offer kits next day Monday - Friday and they can be sent in to our lab Monday - Thursdays.
What if I already began my therapy?
Some people may still be able to collect a productive sample early in their treatment. We analyze every collection before we freeze the sperm to make sure that it would lead to potential conception.
